Papua New Guinea is the host of the 2016 FIFA under 20 Women’s World Cup in November 2016. The Papua New Guinea Men’s and Women’s team are having been performing well in international competitions. Papua New Guinea hosted the OFC Nation’s Cup, the Women’s TriNations Cup and recently hosted the Malaysian National team.

The Kokoda Track Authority (KTA) is a Papua New Guinea Special Purpose Authority, commissioned to promote and manage the Kokoda Track for tourists, while improving the way of life for communities living along the track, through funding and development programmes.
