Dress code

Although, generally speaking, informal attire is part Melanesian lifestyle, we request that guests refrain from wearing swim wear, going bare-chested or barefoot in the restaurant dining areas or the hotel lobby. Casual neat attire and covered footwear for males is required in all outlets and collared shirts after 5.00pm in the bar areas. Please ask at reception should you need assistance.

Should you wish to entertain, provide display space or arrange a meeting, we have a number of room alternatives to meet your requirements. Please contact the Conference & Functions Sales Co-ordinator for assistance.

Business Centre

All accommodation rooms feature IDD direct dial phones, desk, lamp and chair.  A Business Centre is located off the main foyer, equipped with two desk top PC’s, for internet access, a Datec Wireless Card will need to be purchased from the hotel reception.  Services available include word processing, secretarial services, photocopying and faxes are available by enquiring through the hotel reception.

Coral Sea Hotels in Collaboration with Black Swan International (Papua New Guinea’s leading service provider) provides FREE Airport to and from Airport and between Gateway Hotel and Apartments.

Swimming pool

The pool is open from 5.00am to 9.00pm daily. There is no lifeguard in attendance, so children under 14 years must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Check in and Check out times

Check In time is from 2.00pm, if you are checking in later than 6.00pm; please ensure your reservation has been guaranteed with a credit card or company purchase order to avoid disappointment. To minimize inconvenience to incoming guests please note that our checkout time is 10.00 am. If you wish to arrive early or an extension on check out time, please check with our friendly Reception Team.

Car park

Free car parking is available 24 hours a day to all in-house guest and patrons. However, please note that the hotel is unable to accept responsibility for vehicles or their contents at any time.
